Jessica McMaster is an investigative reporter for Straight Arrow News, based in Kansas City, Missouri.

She brings more than a decade of experience uncovering corruption, exposing government waste and holding public officials accountable through rigorous, fact-driven reporting.

Jessica’s work has sparked FBI investigations, resulted in criminal convictions and prompted changes in laws and public policy.

In 2024, Jessica’s reporting on a police raid in a small Kansas town earned national recognition from Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE). Over her career, she has also been honored with several regional awards, including seven Emmy Awards and four Edward R. Murrow Awards.

Outside the newsroom, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and, as a huge Patrick Mahomes fan, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs.
