Joy Gulley

Joy Gulley is a graphic designer at Straight Arrow based out of Opelika, Alabama. Her longstanding love and practice of drawing turned into a fascination with design for its blend of creativity, collaboration and problem solving. She draws inspiration from movie posters, magazines, and packaging, and enjoys experimenting with layout and typography.

Since graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Graphic Design, Joy has worked as an email marketing and social media designer for local clothing companies and marketing agencies.

Apart from design, she enjoys reading, collecting vinyl records, baking for friends, and listening endlessly to music. Joy also loves rewatching nostalgic movies and sitcoms, and spending active time outside: everything from hobbies to projects can be a source of inspiration to create beautiful work that serves others well.
