Pierce Sharpe
Executive Editor
Pierce serves as executive editor, overseeing daily editorial operations and managing newsroom assignments.
He spent several years as the 10PM producer at WPIX in New York City. In 2020, the pandemic prompted a move closer to family in Nebraska, where he led statewide news operations for News Channel Nebraska. He joined Straight Arrow News in 2021.
Pierce holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a concentration in journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. He and his wife are raising their three children in northeast Nebraska, where they enjoy the strong sense of community and connection to family.
