Media Miss by the left: Trump blasts Democrats’ leadership, compares them to Somalia

Trump continues to blame the government shutdown on Democrats, and now he’s saying it’ll be their fault if his administration fires hundreds of government workers during what’s supposed to be a furlough.

He also criticized Democratic leadership. “The Democrats have no leader. They remind me of Somalia,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday.

The president also announced plans this week to use tariff revenue to fund WIC temporarily.

“The Trump White House will not allow impoverished mothers and their babies to go hungry because of the Democrats’ political games,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement on social media.
