The FBI says it has stopped a potential terrorist attack in Michigan ahead of Halloween. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Friday morning that agents arrested multiple people allegedly plotting a violent attack. 

Patel did not share further details about the suspects or the nature of the threat.

In a post on X, Patel said, “This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend. More details to come.”

He also thanked law enforcement, writing, “Thanks to the men and women of FBI and law enforcement everywhere standing guard 24/7.” 

The FBI says additional information will be released as the investigation continues.
