On the heels of President Donald Trump’s tariff announcement, Ford Motor Company is launching a new initiative called “From America, For America.” Starting April 3 and lasting through June 2, all customers will receive employee pricing when they buy certain Ford cars, trucks and minivans.

Buyers will pay the same amount as Ford workers, which can be thousands of dollars below the dealer invoice price on 2024 and 2025 models.

Which vehicles qualify, and which ones don’t?

Ford, based in Michigan, called this a “handshake deal with every American.” During the two-month period, car shoppers will be able to save on gas-powered Fords, hybrids, plug-in hybrids and diesel vehicles, as well as Lincoln vehicles.

The deal excludes the 2025 Expedition and Navigator SUVs and also the Raptor and Super Duty trucks.

Fox Business reported that Ford cited uncertain times and the complexities of a changing economy for the employee pricing campaign.

What about tariffs on foreign-made cars?

Starting Thursday, all foreign-made automobiles are subject to a 25% tariff. Some economists predict the price of a new car could rise anywhere from $2000 to $20,000, depending on where the car is made and the parts that are used.

Trump insisted his Made-in-America agenda will bring jobs and factories back to the U.S. Ford said in a statement that it is assembling vehicles that Americans rely on and supporting American jobs.
