Top Democratic leaders are celebrating the peace deal President Donald Trump helped broker between Israel and Hamas. They include Senate Minority leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and former Presidents Joe Biden and Bill Clinton.

“President Trump and his administration, Qatar, and other regional actors deserve great credit for keeping everyone engaged until the agreement was reached,” Clinton said in a statement.

And Biden, whom Trump has criticized for “not getting it done” while he was in office said, “I am deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come.”
