Media Miss by the left: Millions rally around truck driver involved in fatal Florida crash

More than 2.5 million people have signed a Change.org petition calling for leniency for Harjinder Singh. Singh is facing 45 years in prison after he made an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike on Aug. 12, causing a minivan to hit his trailer, killing all three passengers.

The petition reads in part, “This was a tragic accident — not a deliberate act. While accountability matters, the severity of the charges against him does not align with the circumstances of the incident.”

Singh is charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and three counts of manslaughter, each carrying a maximum sentence of up to 15 years in the state of Florida.

The State Department has since paused issuing work visas to foreign drivers who seek to become truck drivers.

Media Miss by the right: Ghislaine Maxwell given ‘platform to rewrite history,’ victim’s family warns

The family of Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide in April, says the Department of Justice is giving his co-conspirator a “platform to rewrite history.” They’re sounding the alarm over Ghislaine Maxwell’s interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche last month.

One major concern is that it took place without a prosecutor who knows the facts of the case, offering Maxwell the chance to give misleading testimony.

During an interview with NBC News, the family said Maxwell “is never challenged about her court-proven lies, providing her a platform to rewrite history.”

Maxwell’s attorneys have denied those allegations and have claimed that Maxwell has been giving a truthful and consistent account of the events and individuals involved.
