Media Miss by the right: Poll shows most Americans are against Trump’s East Wing demolition project

Most Americans don’t support Trump’s decision to demolish the East Wing of the White House to make room for a new ballroom. That’s according to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll.

The poll shows that 56% of Americans surveyed voiced opposition to the move. Only 28% said they approve of the project, while 15% said they strongly support it.

The proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom will be able to accommodate nearly a thousand guests. Trump says the $330 million project is being funded by private donations.

Media Miss by the left: Trump floats Vance-Rubio 2028 ticket for White House

While Trump still has not entirely ruled out seeking a third term, he has floated the idea of a presidential ticket featuring Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“We have JD, obviously, the vice president is great. I think Marco’s great,” Trump told reporters on Air Force One this week. “I think I’m not sure if anybody would run against us, and I think if they ever formed a group it would be unstoppable.”

When asked about it, Vance said his primary focus remains on addressing economic challenges and making life more affordable for Americans. He also acknowledged that Rubio is his “best friend in the administration.”
