Bias comparison

  • Media outlets on the left emphasize the shooting's impact with phrases like "active shooter" and "multiple people injured," often providing detailed, emotionally resonant accounts from students who were "frightened" and found the situation "surreal.
  • Not enough coverage from media outlets in the center to provide a bias comparison.
  • Media outlets on the right focus more on the immediate threat, using terms like "'active scene'" and noting the "shelter-in-place" order, with greater emphasis on official responses, FBI involvement and the lockdown of Leon County schools.
