Nicole Kidman has filed for divorce from Keith Urban after nearly two decades of marriage. Court documents filed Tuesday confirmed the actress initiated the split following TMZ’s initial report of the couple’s separation.
The filing includes a “marital dissolution agreement,” a child support worksheet and a parenting seminar order, as the pair share two children, ages 17 and 14. TMZ also reported that sources claim Urban may already be involved with another woman.
As news spread, fans began revisiting Urban’s recent interviews and performances for possible signs of trouble.

Body language in recent interview
A Sept. 2 interview from the Australian radio breakfast show “Jonesy & Amanda” is resurfacing online, with many pointing to Urban’s uncomfortable body language when asked about his relationship with Kidman.
An edited caption reads, “Prior to this, Keith Urban loved chatting about Nicole Kidman with us! He encouraged it, actually. We wish both Nicole and Keith all the best ❤️”
When host Amanda Keller asked if fate played a role in their first meeting, Urban gave clipped answers while fidgeting with his water bottle and jacket.
“Uh, G’Day LA,” Urban corrected the host when asked about the event where they met. When pressed about whether their paths would have crossed otherwise, he replied, “I think it would.”
Fans online described his reaction as “so telling.”
“I just often think that if you weren’t at that event, maybe you don’t have the same friendship group, it may never have happened,” Keller said.
“You never know,” Urban replied. “Anyway, moving on.”

Lyrics changed on stage
Just before divorce news broke, Urban drew attention during a live performance by changing lyrics in his hit “The Fighter,” a song originally written for Kidman.
Instead of singing, “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” Urban replaced the line with: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”
The lyric swap directly referenced his touring guitarist, 25-year-old Maggie Baugh, who later shared the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Did Keith Urban just say that?”
Following the video, multiple news outlets scrambled to dig into her background and uncover any possible connection or relationship between Baugh and Urban.
“Maggie, I’ll be your fighter,” Urban sang as he ended the song and gave Baugh a hug.

The Instagram post quickly drew thousands of reactions. One fan wrote, “It is so trashy to do this to a song inspired by his wife. It’s the ultimate ick.”
Another commenter added, “This is such a bad look knowing that song was for Nicole and how cute they sang it together for his video. Ugh… Maybe you didn’t know? I hope you can clarify for folks.”
One defended Baugh, pointing out that she is an independent artist. That user wrote, “Keith was simply mentioning her because she was on stage with him at the time. I honestly believe Maggie is a good-hearted person.”
