A plane crash in Pima County, Arizona, killed two people on Wednesday, Feb. 19, according to the Marana Police Department. The crash reportedly involved a small plane at the Marana Regional Airport, but details are limited.

Police said they were preparing to address the media in a dirt parking lot outside of the airport.

Why is it important?

It’s the second deadly plane crash at an Arizona airport this month after another incident which killed the pilot of a private jet owned by Motley Crue singer Vince Neill in Scottsdale.

The airport collision also follows deadly plane crashes in Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and western Alaska.

Earlier this week, everyone on board a commercial flight that crashed in Toronto survived after the plane burst into flames and flipped over while landing on the runway.

Investigations are ongoing for all these recent air disasters.
