“Saturday Night Live” is turning 50, and the celebration is bigger than ever. The iconic comedy show is pulling out all the stops with a live anniversary special, exclusive events and a star-studded guest list.
On Sunday, Feb. 16, NBC and Peacock will air a three-hour live special honoring 50 years of “Saturday Night Live.”
The show will feature appearances from some of the biggest names in entertainment, including past and present cast members, celebrity hosts and musical guests.

Star-studded guest list
The lineup includes Kim Kardashian, Ayo Edebiri, Paul McCartney and Peyton Manning. Many of these stars have hosted “Saturday Night Live” before, with some making multiple appearances over the years.
Former cast members like Adam Sandler, Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey and Eddie Murphy will also return to celebrate the milestone.
50 years of ‘Saturday Night Live’
NBC has been marking the occasion with special projects leading up to the anniversary.
In January, the network launched the “SNL 50: Beyond Saturday Night” documentary series on Peacock. The four-part series explores different aspects of the show, including original audition tapes from well-known cast members.
Last month, the “SNL Immersive Experience” opened at Rockefeller Center. Fans can step behind the scenes, experience the control room and recreate famous sketches. The interactive exhibit runs through Feb. 16.
‘SNL’ homecoming concert
The celebration doesn’t stop there. On Friday, Feb. 14, Jimmy Fallon will host “The SNL Homecoming Concert” at Radio City Music Hall.
Musical guests include the Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga and more. Fans who can’t attend in person can stream the concert on Peacock starting Feb. 16.
