Clips from inside the club show Desclos confidently walking onstage with pyrotechnics going off as he lip-synced to a Bieber song as clubgoers screaming loudly.

But how did this actually happen?

DJ Gryffin details to the incident

“Bieber in the house, y’all!”

DJ Gryffin, who was performing that night, shared a behind-the-scenes breakdown on social media.

He said Desclos showed up to the booth and picked a song he wanted to “perform.” With the loud music and dark venue lights, Gryffin said he didn’t question it — he genuinely believed it was the real Bieber.

It wasn’t until leaving the stage after Desclos’ performance that Gryffin learned “the worst news imaginable.” Someone on his team informed him the performer was an impersonator.

“I thought he had lost a lot of weight since the album dropped,” Gryffin said in his Instagram video.

Club says it was a ‘planned ruse’

A spokesperson for XS Nightclub confirmed to Straight Arrow News that Desclos used a team to carry out the incident.

“After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage. As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry,” the spokesperson said.

Desclos didn’t just fool XS Nightclub. Earlier in the day, he was seen around Las Vegas posing for selfies with fans and tourists. Several believed he was Bieber himself, while others were skeptical.

This isn’t the first time Desclos has pulled it off.

A few months ago, Desclos was spotted on a train looking like Bieber. That clip also went viral.

Even Hailey Bieber, Justin’s wife, commented on the video at the time, writing: “I’m scared…”
