A cultural event with never-before-heard songs
This isn’t just any tour — many say it’s a cultural event. The lineup includes RZA, GZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna. The group has promised to perform songs they’ve never played live, making this tour a must-see event for fans.
The tour kicks off June 6 in Baltimore and stops in major cities like Atlanta, Chicago and Toronto. The North American leg wraps up July 18 in Philadelphia.
RZA, the group’s de facto leader, hinted that the tour might expand beyond North America. “This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture,” he said in a statement.
Wu-Tang legacy continues with solo projects
Even as the final tour approaches, RZA has made it clear that this isn’t the end of Wu-Tang Clan’s legacy. He has hinted at future solo projects and collaborations from individual members.
One example is RZA’s recent orchestral project, “A Ballet Through Mud.” The performance blended classical music with hip-hop storytelling, showcasing RZA’s continued creativity and innovation.
The group is also set to release a new album titled “Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman: Wu-Tang, The Saga Continues Collection” in just a few weeks. This marks the first time all surviving members have collaborated on a full-length album since 2015.
The album, produced by Mathematics, draws inspiration from Blaxploitation films and martial arts cinema. It features collaborations with artists like Kool G Rap, Kurupt, Benny the Butcher, 38 Spesh and KXNG Crooked.
Set to drop on April 12, the album will be available digitally and as a limited-edition Record Store Day vinyl release. Each of the 5,000 copies will feature unique cover art.
