A new joint survey by the Anti‑Defamation League and the Jewish Federations of North America reveals that 57% of Jewish Americans say antisemitism is a “normal” part of their lives. 55% of respondents experienced at least one antisemitic incident over the past year.
Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, warned that the trend demands an urgent national response, calling it a “five‑alarm fire” for the country. “This is not just a Jewish problem. It’s an American problem that demands immediate action from leaders at every level,” he said.
Meanwhile, 79% of respondents say they are concerned about antisemitism, and 48% said they’ve taken steps to secure their personal security.
