At least four Palestinian journalists were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al Ahli Arab hospital’s courtyard in Gaza City, according to local reporters for Middle East Eye. Hamas condemned the attack, calling it a “new war crime” by Israel and highlighting its systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists.

The total number of journalists killed since Oct. 7, 2023, now stands at 226, with monitoring groups calling it the “worst-ever conflict” for journalists due to high casualty rates. The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that Israel has destroyed 115 media offices in Gaza since the war began.
