The Cook Political Report, which updates projections and analyzes election trends, shifted key swing states in former President Donald Trump’s favor in the 2024 presidential race. The report changed five swing states and a congressional district away from President Joe Biden in its recent update.
According to the report, Arizona, Georgia and Nevada are now leaning Republican. New Hampshire, Minnesota and Nebraska’s second district lean Democrat.
This could be an issue for President Joe Biden, who is facing pressure from some members of his own party to step down and allow a different candidate to run.
