The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Colorado chapter has filed a class action lawsuit against the Trump administration. The lawsuit seeks to halt and prohibit warrantless arrests made without probable cause by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, a practice lawyers say is illegal and unconstitutional.
The lawsuit lists several senior administration officials as defendants, including Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem and acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, according to an ACLU press release.
