A poll from KFF shows public confidence in federal health leadership is declining, especially among Democrats. The survey found that 59 % of Democrats called President Donald Trump’s statements about acetaminophen “definitely false,” while 56 % of Republicans viewed them as true or probably true.

It also revealed that 59 % of respondents disapprove of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. serving as Secretary of Health. According to Ashley Kirzinger, director of survey methodology, trust in the CDC’s vaccine guidance among Democrats has declined by 24 percentage points over two years, a drop she links to rising political polarization around health information.
