A new Gallup survey shows that Americans trust local government more than Congress and the media. 67% of respondents have a “great deal” or “fair amount” of trust in local governments, compared to 34% for Congress and 31% for mass media. State governments and the American people also received higher trust ratings than news organizations and federal lawmakers.
