Milwaukee police officers arrested a 21-year-old man wearing a ski mask and carrying a concealed gun and tactical backpack near the Republican National Convention perimeter. Authorities confirmed the man lacked a concealed carry permit.

The man was armed with an AK-47 pistol. Police arrested him near the Fiserv Forum, where the Republican National Convention is held, after being noticed by Homeland Security Investigators and Capitol Police. Police found the gun and a full magazine in the man’s tactical bag during the arrest.
