Col. Sheyla Baez Ramirez was suspended from her position as Garrison Commander at Fort McCoy on April 18, according to the U.S. Army Reserve. Officials stated that the suspension was “not related to any misconduct” and provided no further details.

An investigation was launched into why photographs of President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth were missing from a command display at Fort McCoy.

The Defense Department acknowledged the issue, stating, “WE FIXED IT!” after the frames were filled with the missing images.
