The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) says shots were fired at ICE agents on the morning of Nov. 8 in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. The department said in a statement that a man fired from a black Jeep vehicle before fleeing the scene.

DHS has not yet released the identity of any suspect or alleged shooter, but now says that an arrest has been made in connection with the attack. The department says that the man they apprehended is an undocumented migrant from Mexico previously convicted for felony possession of a weapon, among other charges.
