President Joe Biden has canceled nine trips following his withdrawal from the presidential race on Sunday, July 21. Biden said he now plans to stay in Delaware until Wednesday instead of departing yesterday, July 22. He traveled to his family home in Delaware while recovering from COVID-19, and announced his plans to not seek reelection while there.

The president’s canceled trips included planned campaign stops in California; Denver, Colorado and Austin and Houston, Texas. Campaign officials said the cancellations were not due to Biden’s health and that he was almost completely recovered from COVID-19.
