Former President Joe Biden will receive a $10 million advance for his presidential memoir from Hachette Book Group. The publisher, Little, Brown & Company, has not announced a release date for the memoir.
Biden’s advance is significantly lower than the Obamas’ $60 million and Bill Clinton’s $15 million for their memoirs.

Concerns about Biden’s health may affect the book’s timeline, as he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Biden said he had been working on the memoir for a while after leaving the presidency in January.
