Former President Bill Clinton said he is open to having a conversation with President Joe Biden about a potential preemptive pardon for his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton made the comment during an appearance on “The View” Wednesday, Dec. 11, while discussing whether Trump might target his political enemies during a second term. “I think if President Biden wanted to talk to me about that, I will talk to him about it, but I don’t think I should be giving public advice on the pardon power,” Bill Clinton reportedly said, adding, “It’s a very personal thing, but … I hope [Trump] won’t do that.”
