Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, plans to propose a resolution for Vice President Kamala Harris to replace President Joe Biden due to his poor debate performance. The resolution urges Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment, allowing her to declare Biden unfit and assume the presidency.

Roy’s resolution calls for immediate action from Harris to convene the Cabinet and declare Biden unable to fulfill his duties.

The announcement followed the first presidential debate on June 27 between President Biden and former President Donald Trump.
