The latest poll numbers indicate a decline in Democratic hopes for re-electing President Joe Biden, with former President Donald Trump gaining an edge in the race. Following Biden’s uncertain debate appearance, over two-thirds of viewers show concern, leading to calls for him to consider stepping down. Polling also indicated that more Americans would support former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and current Vice President Kamala Harris than Biden or Trump in November. Biden has repeatedly said he would not drop out of the race, however some Democrats have started to publicly debate who they would choose to replace him.
