A recent Yale Youth Poll showed that voters aged 18 to 21 favor Republicans by 11.7 points for the 2026 elections, while those aged 22 to 29 lean Democratic by 6.4 points. Vice President JD Vance has a net favorability rating of +65 among all respondents and +54 among Republicans aged 30 and under.

The Democratic Party reportedly struggles with messaging among working-class voters and faces record-low approval ratings, according to various polls.

Approximately 57.8% of voters under 30 oppose trans-identifying biological males competing in women’s sports, reflecting a shift in views among young voters.
