Jagmeet Singh, leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party, stated that Donald Trump should be uninvited to the G7 meeting in Alberta, plainly calling him a “fascist.” An Alberta man’s petition to bar Trump has gained over 28,000 signatures, citing concerns in Canada about sovereignty.


Prime Minister Justin Trudeau afterwards rejected Singh’s proposal to prevent Trump from attending the summit in Canada. Singh questioned, “I don’t understand why we would let Donald Trump come to the G7 in Canada,” expressing strong opposition.
