The Department of Education has declared June as “Title IX Month” to honor women’s civil rights and the 53rd anniversary of Title IX, while criticizing the previous administration for undermining protections for women and girls under the law. Investigations have begun into the University of Wyoming and Jefferson County Public Schools for potential violations of Title IX, specifically concerning allowing biological males into female-only spaces.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon stated, “This administration will fight on every front to protect women’s and girls’ sports, intimate spaces, dormitories and living quarters.”
