An ex-girlfriend of Doug Emhoff accused him of physical assault in 2012, claiming he slapped her while they waited for their car at the Cannes Film Festival. She described the incident, stating, “He slaps me so hard I spin around, and I’m in utter shock.”
She criticized Emhoff’s public persona, saying, “What’s frightening for a woman that’s been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed.
A spokesperson for Emhoff has denied the accusations and said any suggestion Emhoff has ever struck a woman is false.
