The newly declassified Clinton Annex shows the FBI failed to fully investigate Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and mishandling of classified information during her tenure as secretary of state. According to Sen. Chuck Grassley, the FBI ignored eight thumb drives containing sensitive information that could have aided the investigation into Clinton’s actions as secretary of state.

Grassley stated that the FBI displayed negligence in assessing national security risks related to Clinton’s email practices, highlighting a contrast with investigations into former President Donald Trump.

The investigation’s handling has raised concerns over political bias within the FBI, as asserted by Grassley and revealed in the newly declassified documents.
