Gregg Phillips, a senior FEMA official, claims he has experienced physical teleportation multiple times against his will, including to a Waffle House and a church. Phillips doubled down on those claims, linking the experiences to his religious faith.

Phillips said his car was lifted while driving and he was teleported 40 miles into a ditch near a church during one incident. He said he was also teleported 50 miles away to a Waffle House in Rome, Georgia, on the same day.

“I was with my boys one time, and I was telling them I was gonna go to Waffle House and get Waffle House. And I ended up at a Waffle House. This was in Georgia, and I end up at a Waffle House like 50 miles away from where I was,” Phillips said.

Phillips said that teleporting was “not fun” but an “incredible adventure.” He said he believed that his experience was an act of God.

Phillips joined FEMA in December. He leads the agency’s Office of Response and Recovery.
