Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman called for a military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. He insisted that negotiations are ineffective with such regimes.
Fetterman dismissed concerns from foreign policy experts about a potential regional war from such an action, stating, “It’s not going to turn into World War III.”
He criticized President Donald Trump’s approach to negotiations, suggesting that the military should take precedence, and called the current negotiating team “unimpressive and utterly bewildering.”
Fetterman emphasized that Iran’s nuclear facilities are solely for weapons and insisted, “You cannot negotiate with evil.”
