Yarden Bibas, a freed hostage, called on US President Donald Trump to leverage his influence for the release of remaining captives in Gaza during an interview on CBS News’ “60 Minutes.” Bibas criticized Hamas for subjecting him to psychological torment and revealed that his wife and two children were murdered during his captivity, with their bodies returned shortly after his release.

The Bibas family was targeted during the Oct. 7 massacre by Hamas, which kidnapped them from Kibbutz Nir Oz. A fundraising campaign for Bibas raised over $1.4 million within 24 hours to support him in rebuilding his life after the loss of his family.
