Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced a crackdown on leaks within the intelligence community. She said the department would aggressively pursue anyone who leaks information to the press.
Gabbard stated that unauthorized disclosures of classified material violate the law and will be addressed accordingly.
She emphasized that politically motivated leaks undermine national security and public trust.
Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton expressed support for Gabbard’s efforts to end the leaking of intelligence information.
