Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard referred two intelligence professionals to the Justice Department for alleged classified information leaks. Gabbard stated that these individuals leaked classified information for partisan political purposes to undermine President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Officials confirmed that someone leaked information to the Washington Post and the New York Times. They discovered a third referral on the way.

Gabbard emphasized that the administration will hold individuals who leak classified information accountable. She said she will pursue further criminal referrals as warranted.
