Republican lawmakers are reportedly gaining momentum to force the Trump administration to release the complete Epstein files. One GOP senator, speaking under condition of anonymity to The Hill, said Congress is moving closer to passing legislation that would direct the Justice Department to release all Epstein-related materials.

A discharge petition is reportedly making its way through the House of Representatives and is likely to garner enough signatures to force a vote on a bill that would direct the DOJ to release the files. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has referred to efforts as a “Democrat hoax that never ends.”

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s effort to force a vote to make the files public was blocked by Republicans.
