Mylie Biggs, daughter of Arizona U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs, is running for the Arizona Senate despite stating that she does not believe women should hold public office. In a podcast episode from Aug. 6, 2024, Biggs expressed that she does not know if she would vote for any female, showing that she was a skeptic about women’s roles in politics.

Mylie Biggs previously remarked that modern feminism has changed society negatively, claiming it has gone rampant since women gained the right to vote. In the time since her announcement, Biggs has not filed a campaign finance report, and it has been noted that she has reportedly not raised any campaign funds yet.
