Half of Gen Z voters say they’ve lied about their votes: Axios-Harris Poll

Nearly half of Gen Z voters have admitted to lying about their votes in the presidential election, according to the Axios-Harris Poll survey. The survey revealed that 48% of voters aged 18 to 27 have not been truthful about their voting choices.
Additionally, 58% of voters believe that voting is a private matter, as stated by Axios. These numbers are compared to millennials at 38%, Gen X at 17% and baby boomers at just 6%, respectively. One theory from the poll states that voters 18-27 who came of age during the “hyper polarized Trump era” appear to be the most sensitive to perceived pressure towards voting habits.
