House GOP advances bill to limit judges from pausing Trump’s executive orders

Forty-five percent of Americans believe federal judges are obstructing President Donald Trump’s election mandate, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. House Republicans passed a bill through committee that limits the power of judges who pause Trump’s executive orders, with the No Rogue Rulings Act set for a full House vote.

Republicans have argued against judges issuing injunctions to President Trump’s executive orders.

Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin criticized the GOP bill, claiming it will assist Trump in undermining judicial power and violate people’s rights.
