Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and local law enforcement agencies have seen a 950% increase in agreements to coordinate on federal arrests in the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term.

ICE data shows that in late January, 1,168 agencies with officers were trained to help ICE, an increase of 135 agencies under former President Joe Biden.

The states collaborating the most are Alabama, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas. Agencies participating receive over $7,000 per trained officer for equipment from ICE’s program, according to reports.
