Since 2020, immigrant voters have shifted from a 32-point Democratic lead to an 8-point Republican lead on immigration, according to CNN’s Harry Enten. President Donald Trump’s support among immigrant voters increased to 47% in 2024, up from 36% in 2016, according to the analysis.

Public approval for Trump’s immigration policies has increased significantly, with a 19-point advantage for Republicans over Democrats.

CNN’s polling shows that 54% of the public supports Trump’s mass deportation orders and actions by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as mentioned by Enten.
