Israel will start limited one-way flights to Tel Aviv on Thursday, June 19, for tens of thousands of its citizens stranded abroad since the conflict with Iran began last week, according to Transportation Minister Miri Regev. More than 60,000 stranded passengers registered on El Al’s site within two hours after the online form opened, despite the ongoing conflict.

Currently, around 150,000 Israelis are believed to be abroad and unable to return due to the closure of Israel’s airspace to civilian traffic.

Iran has experienced a mass exodus, with over 100,000 civilians fleeing Tehran due to panic following Israeli strikes, as noted by observers.
