Tapper emphasized that he and Alex Thompson did not intend to exonerate Biden by claiming the current scandal was “not Watergate.”
In Tapper’s opinion, he owes the American people an acknowledgment for wishing he had covered the story better. He further clarified that this situation is “an entirely separate scandal.”
