Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, described Donald Trump as “an enemy to the United States” during an interview on MSNBC. Crockett criticized Trump and Vice President JD Vance for their actions regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“There’s no middle ground with this president. He has no intention of doing right by, number one, the United States,” Crockett said. “Unfortunately, we have someone that is occupying the White House, and as far as I’m concerned, he is an enemy to the United States.”
Crockett’s remarks may affect the Democratic Party’s image, as some view her as a polarizing figure in politics.
Crockett expressed concerns about Trump’s approach to peace after two assassination attempts on him last year.
