Jen Psaki stated that the Democratic Party is currently ‘in the wilderness’ and lacks a ‘clear leader,’ following Vice President Kamala Harris’ defeat to President-elect Donald Trump. Psaki mentioned that there are potential leaders within governors and other figures, but no clear leader has emerged yet.
She also pointed out that the party should have focused more on disaffected Democratic voters instead of relying on ‘never-Trump’ Republicans.
While many Democrats are worried about a second Trump term, Psaki said she sees it as an opportunity for Democrats.
