The campaign called “Jews for Zohran” is led by Alicia Singham Goodwin, niece of billionaire Neville Roy Singham, who is alleged to have ties to the Chinese government. The campaign aims to support New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who has received accusations of antisemitism from some.

Goodwin serves as political director for Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, which launched the “Jews for Zohran” campaign in January to sway Jewish voters. The initiative seeks to secure support from Jewish voters while dealing with accusations of antisemitism against Mamdani’s anti-Israel stance.

Former city Councilman Rory Lancman expressed concern, describing the campaign as “frightening” due to Mamdani’s controversial statements and the potential normalization of antisemitism.
